Frequently Asked QuestionsFrequently Asked Questions

Who invented these kinds of pictures?

Roots of this art actually date back to 1838. It began with simple observation and expanded into crude drawings and from there moved into a more advanced form in late 1950s when professionals were studying how our vision works. Then the technology further expanded in the late 1960s and 1970s. During this time computers began being used which made it possible to create clearer, more complex images. In the late 1980s things began to advance rapidly and computer enthusiasts around the world began to share their technology and images (mostly shapes and designs). Up to this point, no one had mastered how to represent animals, scenery, spaceships, etc. But the progress didn’t stop there because the artists continued to share their developments and hard work. Their intentions were to create images that would fascinate any human being.

What had begun as an observation 175 years ago dramatically turned to big business in 1991, when several new companies began to produce and sell high quality, full color images. This technology has rapidly made its way into the mainstream of life all over the world. Almost 30,000,000 books have been sold to date. From all indications this is only the beginning as the rest of the world begins to catch a glimpse of this fantastic new art form.

Who makes the Eye Adventure images?
Currently three Artists from around the world create the images for Eye Adventures. They are all very skilled and artistically talented as well. Many creators of these images are just programmers and have no real eye for aesthetics but you definitely cannot say that about our talented magicians. Their creative of the use of 3D modeling, 2D graphics & colors and their mastery of the different styles (often creating their own unique look to their images0 sets them apart from all the other people making images like this. The others simply don’t compare.

There seems to be lots of different techniques or styles.

Yes, there are and soon we will have a written description available here and soon we will have an eBook with descriptions and 3D images to show them and their differences.

I make these type of images will you sell them for me?

Yes, fill out the contact form we would love to see your pictures and see if we can work out a way to sell them for you.

Can anyone see a Eye Adventure image? Do any people have trouble viewing these images?

You need vision in both your eyes to have depth perception. Most people who have depth perception can see these Eye Adventure images. People with impaired depth perception, stigmatisms or people who have one eye which does much more recording of what it sees than the other eye (called dominant eye) can possibly see them but it takes a bit more work. I personally have a very dominant left eye and it took me three tries of 20 minutes each to view them. However, now that I have figured out how to do it I can do it almost instantly every time. So be patient and give it a fair chance it really is worth the effort. The images are like nothing you have ever seen or done before. And they are fun and beautiful. If you are having trouble just read viewing.

Can you teach me to see in this style of 3D?

Yes, Click here for our viewing instructions.

Is your payment system secure?

Absolutely yes, we have put weeks of investigation into the most secure payment methods and the easiest ones for you to navigate. If you have any questions or comments about our payment system, please fill out the contact form.

The image sees to pop out at me instead of appear behind the picture.

Okay, that means that you are crossing your eyes so they meet in front of the picture. You can still see in 3D however, it is not as comfortable and it shows an inside out version of the 3D. Instead of there being a 3D sea horse hidden in the image it looks as though you have pulled the shape of a sea horse out of a block. What you should do is to look through the image as if there is something a couple inches behind the 2D pattern. That is where the magic is. Now it will look like you can reach in and grab the sea horse, flowers, deer, buildings, etc. When you get this down that is where the real rewards are.

I seem to see double images, how can I fix this?

This just means you are looking too far behind the image. Start over and try to not look so deep. This is discussed in the viewing instructions of eBook No. 1. It is actually quite fun to do once you get the hang of it but since the images were not with this in mind when you do this it gives a distorted view of the image and it does not look nearly as good as when you view it correctly.

Can you make custom images?

Yes, Click here.

Can I use an existing Eye Adventures image in my personal project or in my business promotion?

Yes, Click here.

Can I make these images myself?

Yes but you will not be able to make images as impressive as the ones in our products. The artists have developed their software programming for years and that software is not for sale. However, we will have software soon where you can make your own. And with these you ca do simple but attractive images, words, names etc. in 3D. Surprise a friend with a 3D picture of their name and even possible their face repeating in the 2D portion. Keep your eye on our webstore because we are planning to offer this soon.

Do these help my eyes?

Many eye doctors (Optomitrists) say yes. I am busy getting permission from these doctors to post their articles then we will have the full skinny on how much they can help.

How are these pictures made?

Due to the highly complex and detailed nature of these images and how they work, computers must be used to make these possible. The also need computer generated 3D models. There’s lots of fancy science behind it (something called algorithms) but all we are really interested in is the “Wow” feeling we get when the Xray vision kicks in.

So programming skills are completely necessary to be able to make these images but the most important ingredient of these 3D “pies” is that the programmer must be an artist at heart. After all this is an art form not just a technical exercise. Our artists began making these images because they loved it and they have been very pleasantly surprised to learn that people love them and want to buy them.

If you have any great ideas for what to hide in the images please feel free to write. You never know, maybe you could inspire our artist to even greater heights.
